Math just got more fun!
we guarantee success
Our Services
We provide just-in-time professional developments for teachers to help them engage in math concepts, giving them opportunities to think about the activities through the eyes of their students. Our sessions provide teachers with hands-on activities that promote conceptual real-time understanding for the students while the teacher facilitates student learning.
Our Mission
To empower math educators with pedagogy that inspires and brings a fun, life-giving, new perspective of math into the classroom. We do this through partnering with teachers to implement our resources, customized or comprehensive curriculum resources, and more. We create infinite possibilities for math in the classroom, all while making it fun!
We Believe
First and foremost, we believe math should be fun! We are firm believers that students come to us with a wealth of knowledge. It is up to us, the educators, to determine what students know and then facilitate their learning from there. Students should be engaged in hands-on experiences where they are communicating, making connections, and making sense of the math.

Meet Shannon
Shannon Alba has held positions as a classroom teacher, math instructional coach, and mathematics specialist at Region 4. She now provides professional developments and instructional coaching to campuses and districts across Texas.
A Little Bit About Shannon
Hi! My name is Shannon. Early in my career, I served education as a mathematics teacher and instructional coach. It was then that I realized I wanted to reach every single student in the world! After all, my parents always told me to shoot for the stars! This is when I made my move to Region 4 where I served as a mathematics specialist for two years.
In 2015, my second son Max joined this world, and my oldest son Sam was entering Kindergarten. I decided to stay home… for three months. My love for helping others and teaching math brought me back to serve campuses and districts as a “hobby” while I enjoyed time with my young boys.
Over the past several years, I have served education in some of the greatest capacities. I have had opportunities to partner with the Houston Children’s Museum, United Way, the University of Houston, various campuses, districts, and like-minded educational companies leading me here – to my own website, blog, and online store. And I cannot thank each of these partnerships enough for choosing me to help better mathematics education!
I am excited for the future and even more excited to have my husband Brian and my boys, Sam and Max, as my biggest supporters – engaging in math conversations multiple times a day and always finding a different way to solve a problem when I ask!
In everything I do, I aim to instill a love of math in both the young and old. I believe that collaboration, questioning, and hands-on experiences are key in developing mathematicians!
